In 1991 Gusto Clothing was established, designing and producing leisurewear and knitted woollen apparel. Becoming the first Australian company and one of the first companies in the world to design develop and sell Wool plus Lycra knitwear.

In 1996 Gusto started its European clothing distribution business across Australia and opened a part-time sample and stock clearance store. In 2004 ‘Styleroom’ a men’s and women’s retail concept was opened and the distribution business moved into larger premises.

Gusto Clothing continued to expand its distribution business, closed Styleroom and by 2017 the brands distributed include Max Mara and Paul & Shark.

The Gusto sample and warehouse sale grows each season and over the Christmas of 2019 Gusto moved into larger premises. Due to COVID-19 and the halt of Gusto’s sample sale and distribution business, Gusto is forced online.

Gusto Clothing will continue to uphold the integrity of all brands across the wholesale, distribution, customer service, PR support and digital platforms.

Gusto’s experience in managing a diverse range of fashion brands and wholesale clientele, plus its large sample sale retail database, will provide an understanding of what is required to champion innovation and customer service at the retail and wholesale level.
